Le report négatif est une politique où un solde de revenu négatif d'une période est reporté sur la suivante et déduit des gains futurs de l'affilié.

What it means in practice

Le report négatif est le plus souvent évoqué dans les accords de RevShare (partage des revenus), en particulier dans l'iGaming. Il signifie que si un joueur référé, ou un groupe de joueurs, génère un solde négatif un mois donné, ce déficit est reporté et déduit des mois suivants avant que l'affilié ne perçoive de nouveau une commission.

Cette politique compte car elle modifie le profil de gains réel d'un accord RevShare. Un programme peut afficher un pourcentage attractif, mais s'il utilise aussi le NGR (Net Gaming Revenue) avec des déductions agressives, y compris les chargebacks, et un report négatif, les versements réels peuvent être retardés ou réduits sur de longues périodes.

Certains opérateurs conservent le report négatif car il aligne les versements sur la rentabilité nette. Les affiliés s'y opposent souvent car il leur transfère davantage de risque. Cela en fait un point de négociation, et pas seulement un détail comptable, à clarifier dans le cadre du modèle de paiement.
